If Axis of Evil Ruled the World

Friday, April 17th, 2009

So check out wot we done.  Norwich’s Future Radio has a weekly show called ‘If I Ruled the World’, where local type people can discuss what they would do, and who they would ban, if they controlled the world.  About two weeks ago they asked me on, and so here is my take on what I would do if I ruled the world. It’s a long podcast, but you can skip the music-y bits pretty easy-like.

Andy went on the week after, so hopefully his podcast will be up soon as well.  In the meantime, here’s his best impression of Hitler as a Stand-up comedian.

New, Glorious News!

Tuesday, April 14th, 2009

Check it out, yo.  Even more tasty gigs coming up from your homies at the Axis of Evil.  Missing the boys of 12-Gauge?  Well fear not, for two whole new 12-Gauge gigs are scheduled in the coming months, featuring brand new 12-Gauge member Uncle Malichai.  It’s gonna be some serious poemin’.  Also, Andy Bennett continues to keep it real on the comedy front, giggin like Ralph Wiggin’, both at the Salt Box Comedy Club tahmarrah night, and further on up the road.  Will explores his new-found talent for poetry and fighting Robots at the Salt Box and Cabaret at the Bird Cage, and Tom hooks up with cheerleader-gone-bad Stephanie Leal for some duo spoken word work later on in May.

All this bidness can be seen at the Axis of Evil Presents comedy night on the 29th of April at the Birdcage, which features some of our bestest friends making lots of funny jokes and singing things.  It’s gonna be good.
